[C.A.F.E.]
Exhibition with free access, on Saturday, March 5th, 2016 from 3pm to 9 pm at the Cybercafe Reihane, 69 road Sébastien Gryphe, 69007 Lyon.
[C.A.F.E.] is an on-line exhibition visible on any computer connected to internet. The exhibition puts in relation the forms and artists’ reflections who grasp notions of flow, exchange and network as source or material of creation.
By gathering heterogeneous works, from the seventies to nowadays, this exhibition aims at making sensitive the public in the esthetic questions lifted by the development of the techniques of telecommunication.
His title [C.A.F.E]. – Communication Access For Everyone refer to the first Electronic Café International (ECI) invented by the artists Kit Galloway and Sherrie Rabinowitz in 1984 [1] This exhibition will take the speedshow format, and will be programmed as part of the festival Mirage in Lyon ( http://www.miragefestival.com/ )
